In March, 1998, Melanie Shelley founded the original dual-sided salon / high-end barbershop concept  “TRIM Classic Barber & Legendary Beauty,” in the trendy 12South area of Nashville, TN. Under Melanie's creative vision, TRIM Classic Barber & Legendary Beauty was proud to count Lady Antebellum, The Band Perry, Kings of Leon, Tyler Farr, Thomas Rhett, Luke Owen, Gillian Welch, Faith Hill, Gloriana, Trigger Hippie, Holly Williams, supermodel Binx Walton, Keith Urban, The Fray,  Steve Taylor, Emmylou Harris, Al Gore, Minnie Driver,  J.D.
